This was problematic, because a Demon Hunter (the only char who can equip crossbows), could not get anything significant from such a weapon, because he mainly uses Dexterity to get more damage. Legendary items had "+6 random stats", so you could drop a crossbow with : Also: loot 2.0 was not supposed to allow you to get the drops you need, but rather get the good rolls on the good stuff. The thing with D3 is that you can fully stuff your toon in what. This occurs in all villages, and seems to be more frequentin the DLC zones (I just arrived at the village, could not tell for the rest).Īs to the above-mentionned "problem" with loot, I honestly prefer it a 100 times over D3 loot system. My main problem(s) with the expansion is that I experience some heavy drop in frame rate in certain area (with the Necro accompanied by 10 pets).
Watching the same movie over and over again though is fun for a while (more so for some), but you get bored far quicker. The differences are more pronounced, so it would be like watching different episodes of the same sitcom on any given day, or perhaps a mishmash of a bunch of different episodes combined.Įventually you get utterly bored, but it takes longer. I don't really think the analogy works that well at all. I'd far prefer watching the movie 3 times, but hey that is just how my brain works.
sitcom over and over though with slightly different laugh tracks or actors are wearing slightly different clothing. I mean using your analogy that would be like watching a long movie 3 times compared to rewatching the same 30 min. Though I find it odd that playing through a game 3 times is so painful, but grinding out very similar maps repeatedly with slight differences is somehow keeping the game "fresh".
Hey if that is how you brain works, more power to ya. This is actually enough for me to suspend disbelief and to tell my tiny ♥♥♥♥ sapiens brain that I am not repeating the exact same content over and over again. 引用自 rojimboo:In D3 since you brought it up, there are randomised maps (not true randomised mind you, but still) that you traverse from beginning to end, in addition to multiple game modes. Unfortunately, I'm putting it away until something new gets possibly added, possibly forever. Disappointment at realising cover girl is not in any part of the game.ĭefinitely worth the paltry 18euros for the DLC though, I would say! MP is just.not very good as p2p, though results may vary. Damage spikes more pronounced in fresh DLC - HC would be ill advised, even more now. Very hard to keep playing the game now, mainly due to utter despair of playing through Veteran+Elite with exact same content. DX11 renderer did nothing to the major slowdowns during big battles, most notably in gladiator crucible. Still no mobility skills, making gaming non-skill based LMB with occassional skill usage, but mostly a gear/resistance/stat check against any given boss. Loot system still bad and old, though now better as it is alleviated by extra affixes. Extra act will just become part of the 3/3 playthrough per toon, and get very very repetitive. + Grim Stash java app to theorycraft/cheat/gear up and crucially, skip some Veteran+Elite playthroughs, all made possible due to local SP nature of game. GSYNC being the operative word, as I upgraded around that time and it got rid of most of the annoying stuttering, expect on Gladiator Crucible maybe. + DX11 is better than no DX11, though performance impact is hard to measure currently, as DX9 with GSYNC was a smooth experience a month ago already.
+ Game core mechanics changes to gear - extra affixes, especially class/skill ones added onto gear lessen the loot hunting problems explained below, plus gear now modifies existing skills a bit, to provide more damage usually. Crucible is much needed, but is also very repetitive at the end of the day. + Much needed new content breathes life into a tired old 4-act game, multiplied by 3 repetitive times to level up properly. So after playing through the game starting on Ultimate and finishing with AoM, I need to congratulate the devs on a few points, whilst re-affirming my original review of the game and that most of the points still stand.
